This year's REALTOR® Olympics Bunco is being held at the Nautical Inn Conference Center on Wednesday March 26th. Check in at 6:30 and the Game begins at 7:00. Ron LaRue Memorial Pistol Shoot
Dedicated to the memory of our friend and fellow REALTOR®, Ronnie LaRueThis year’s REALTOR® Olympic Pistol Shoot event will be in honor of Ron LaRue, who passed away December 12, 2007. Ronnie was an Associate Broker with Heirloom Realty, and an avid shooter. He headed up many of the past REALTOR® Olympic Pistol Shooting events, always eager to pass on his love for the sport.
It will be held on March 29, 2008 at the sportsman center at Sara Park, 7:30 a.m. $10 a person, $50 a team (5 on a team).
If you would like to be a sponsor for this year’s Ron LaRue’s Memorial REALTOR® Olympic’s Pistol Shoot ($150), or if you would like to compete in the pistol shoot ($10) please call Don Holmes, (928) 854-3801.

The REALTOR® Olympic’s Golf ball Drop Event is slated for April 30, 2008, Havasu Island Golf Course, 6 p.m. $10 each or 3 for $20.
2007 was the first year for the Golf Ball Drop. 1000 numbered golf balls were sold for $10.00 each. On May 3rd, 2007 the 1000 golf balls were to be dropped from a Hot Air Balloon over the green and the ball(s) that went into the hole or closest to the hole would win, total prize of $2,500.00.
Last year’s wind forced the event to go to plan B, which was a backup truck with a boom donated by Mack Signs. Eight numbered golf balls went into the hole for a total of eight winners at $312.50 each. The event generated $8,500 profit.
In charge of this year’s Golf Ball Drop will be Pat Brown of Keller Williams, with Pat Tenney, of MidWest Financial Mortgage Services as a Sponsor.

Food boxes will be in Real Estate and R. E. Partners Offices and the Board Office. Committee members will pick up food each week from the offices and my husband and I collect this food at the meetings and take to SVDP each Wednesday after it is weighed. We count items to keep track of each office. Like all other charitable organizations, SVDP has more calls than ever from people who want to be on their food program. SVDP furnishes food to over 500 families each month. Last year our food drive collected just over 4000 pounds.
We will begin the drive on March 19th and end on April 30th (6 weeks)
